    • Godley Intermediate is proud to be designated as a Leader in Me school.  The Leader in Me is FranklinCovey’s whole school climate transformation process that teaches 21st-century leadership and life skills to students and creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader.
  • WATCH D.O.G.S.® Campus
    • Watch D.O.G.S. is a program of the National Center for Fathering in partnership with schools across the US involves fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father-figures that volunteer to serve at least one day a year in a variety of school and classroom activities as assigned by the school principal.  Come be a Watch D.O.G.!

    • Godley Intermediate is a proud partner with TSU’s  Effective Schools Project (ESP) dedicated to improving school effectiveness, raising the achievement level of students and improving the professional development of educators.

  • CLI (Center for Learning and Innovation) & Innovation Station
    • The CLI is the heartbeat of the campus and evolved out of the makerspace movement.   The CLI houses an Innovation Station, a space for young makers to create, a Chromakey Green Screen production studio for student videos and the ReadyAnimator for stop-motion animation, a computer lab where students create using Tinkercad , the 3 D Printer, or play Minecraft, not to mention all the high and low tech tools listed below to spark creativity and passion and a vast array of all the latest library books!  Parents and community members are always welcome to come “play” or simply for a demonstration!

      • Minecraft: Education Edition is an open world game that promotes creativity, collaboration, and problem solving in an immersive environment where the only limit is your imagination.
    • 3 D Printer
      • Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and 3D Printing not only bring a student’s work to life but also prepares students for Science, Technology,  Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) careers while promoting Project-Based Learning and critical thinking.
    • Osmo
      • Osmo is an award-winning, educational, hands-on, system that works with the iPad by opening up interactive student learning opportunities.  Osmo was selected as the TIME’s Best Invention of 2014, Scholastic Teachers’ Pick Award for 2015, and a finalist for both the Innovative Toy of the Year 2015 and Fast Company Best Product Design 2015 awards.

      • Sphero is an intelligent, app-enabled wireless robotics ball that inspires learning and exploration.
    • Ollie
      • Ollie is an app-enabled robot capable of speeds of up to 14 mph and connects to a device via Bluetooth.
    • Snap Circuits
      • Snap Circuits® makes learning electronics a snap and contains projects to build AM and FM radios, digital and voice recorders, burglar alarms, and more!
    • LEGO Story Starters
      • Cambridge University’s Centre for Research on Play in Education, Development and Learning (PEDAL) researched playful writing through the year-long Play, Narrative and Narrative Skills Projects (PLaNS).  Initial understanding shows that using LEGO® bricks in a teaching environment, and writing in a playful way, can help improve the following:  motivation for writing, metacognition and collaborative skills.

      • littleBits makes a platform of easy-to-use electronic building blocks empowering everyone to create inventions that build creative confidence, develop critical thinking and foster collaborative teamwork.
    • iPad Mini
      • The iPad has transformed teaching and learning by providing endless opportunities to create and learn on a user-friendly device.
    • ReadyAnimator
      • ReadyAnimator and an iPad enables students to make stop-motion videos of all styles and 2D animation.  The micro-lens attachment turns the iPad into a microscope!
    • BLOXELS
      • BLOXELS, a hands-on platform for students to build, collaborate, and tell stories through video game creation and is the most recently acquired tool in our arsenal!
