  • Leader in Me Campus
    • Godley Middle School is proud to be designated as a Leader in Me school.  The Leader in Me is FranklinCovey’s whole school climate transformation process that teaches 21st-century leadership and life skills to students and creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader.
  • Thinking Maps
    • Thinking Maps are consistent visual patterns linked directly to eight specific thought processes.  By visualizing our thinking, we create concrete images or abstract thoughts.  These patterns help all students reach higher levels of critical and creative thinking – essential components of 21st Century education.
  • CLI (Center for Learning and Innovation)
    • Evolved out of the makerspace movement, the CLI is the heartbeat of the campus.  The CLI houses high and low-tech supplies and technology for student use and creation including the ReadyAnimator for stop-motion animation,  an interactive short-throw projector, computers for students to create designs using their Tinkercad accounts , the 3 D Printer, or play Minecraft.  There is also a vast array of all the latest titles and comfortable, collaborative seating; parents and community members are always welcome to come “play” or simply for a demonstration!

      • Minecraft: Education Edition is an open world game that promotes creativity, collaboration, and problem solving in an immersive environment where the only limit is your imagination.
    • 3D Printer
      • Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and 3D Printing not only bring a student’s work to life but also prepares students for Science, Technology,  Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) careers while promoting Project-Based Learning and critical thinking.
    • 3Doodler
      • The 3Doodler is a 3D printing pen for student designers, artists, and creative minds.
    • Osmo
      • Osmo is an award-winning, educational, hands-on, system that works with the iPad by opening up interactive student learning opportunities.  Osmo was selected as the TIME’s Best Invention of 2014, Scholastic Teachers’ Pick Award for 2015, and a finalist for both the Innovative Toy of the Year 2015 and Fast Company Best Product Design 2015 awards.

      • Sphero is an intelligent, app-enabled wireless robotics ball that inspires learning and exploration.
    • Snap Circuits
      • Snap Circuits® makes learning electronics a snap and contains projects to build AM and FM radios, digital and voice recorders, burglar alarms, and more!
    • littleBits
      • littleBits makes a platform of easy-to-use electronic building blocks empowering everyone to create inventions that build creative confidence, develop critical thinking and foster collaborative teamwork.
    • iPad Mini
      • The iPad has transformed teaching and learning by providing endless opportunities to create and learn on a user-friendly device.
    • Epson Brightlink 595Wi Interactive Projector
      • BrightLink interactive projectors are transforming today’s classrooms by providing a fully integrated system that eliminates the need for a dedicated electronic whiteboard.
    • ReadyAnimator
      • ReadyAnimator and an iPad enables students to make stop-motion videos of all styles and 2D animation.  The micro-lens attachment turns the iPad into a microscope!
  •  Chromakey Green Screen
    • Students produce and broadcast announcements daily within the production studio; studio space is also available for creating student videos.
  • 1 to the World Student Google Chromebooks
    • Every student has a Chromebook with built-in access to Google Apps for Education, a suite of free productivity tools for classroom collaboration; many digital textbooks are accessed through the Chromebooks.
  • Career Investigation
    • The Career Investigation course helps students understand the relevance of education to the job market and exposes them to various careers through the Career Cruising portal.
